Fraser river Salmon fishing is best from late June to November. Odd numbered years on the Fraser river produce large numbers of Pink salmon in September which are easily caught on spoons or Fly fishing. Fraser river Chinook salmon fishing is good from July to October(August is hot), where Kings average 20-25 lbs with 40-50 pounders available. Fraser river valley Chum salmon fishing is good in October and all of November where fish average 10-15 lbs and will give you a fight that sends you home with sore arms!. Sockeye salmon fishing on the Fraser river varies from year to year but 2009 is expected to be good in August.
